Emma Stone Brings Home Grade 8 Grad

Emma Stone in Lanvin. This look is stunning and acted as a flashback for me! For my grade 8 graduation, I wore the exact same floral style and color dress- except the top of my dress wrapped around like a halter top. I liked the dress, but it was a lot different than the dresses of my girl friends who wore solid color summer style dresses. I got the dress from my friend Skye's aunt Nat, it was long and silky, and I felt grown up. That graduation night my cousin also waxed my eyebrows for the first time ever. Unfortunately I had inherited the big french bushy eyebrows of my grandfathers. For the most part I was okay with it, until the odd rude remark from someone or another. It was great to strip free! I also put on make up for the special occasion. The rule in the house was no makeup until the age of 16- but this was grade 8 grad. It was a statement for me and Lanvin and the lovely Emma Stone has brought back a familiar, beautiful design to remember. If I had a scanner right now I would share a photo, I'll have to wait a few weeks.
